THE COMPLEX

MARE VERDE is laid out like a small village in the exclusive area of Torviscas in the suburbs of the well known resort of Playa de Las Americas in Southern Tenerife. Situated just 10 minutes from the Torviscas Playa beach with the Veronicas nightlife centre only a 2 kilometre walk away makes this an ideal resort for people of all ages and a perfect holiday centre for families.
Facilities include a restaurant, large pools, children's pools surrounded by palm gardens, pool bars, sunbeds lounge with TV and video, tennis court, table tennis, cabaret, hairdresser, restaurant and 2 snack bars.

An on site supermarket enables you to purchase those essential items easily, whilst there are shops, bars and restaurants in the local vicinity.
The Reception is open 24 hours and is available to assist you with any queries or problems you may have and also to provide you with information about the island. From here you can also book excursions, obtain a daily newspaper and exchange your currency. Adjoining onto the reception area is the lounge where you are free to relax, play pool or make a telephone call. The reception area also contains Cafe Victoria, a popular meeting place for getting together, where you can sip a cool drink, have a chat or later on in the evening, enjoy the cabaret.

Nearby to the complex is the esplanade with its tropical gardens, the beginning of the 'Geranium Walk' which extends approximately 4 miles along the coast to the resort of Los Christanos which has the obligatory abundance of shops, bars and some lively restaurants, not to mention two spacious beaches.
The complex has a total of 6 swimming pools in all, which includes the two main pools, a children's pool or the "super-pool" and one of, if not the largest pool's on the island,with a length in the region of 300 metres and with its little waterfalls, bridges, slides and twisting turns make it an experience for both children and adults a like to enjoy. It is widely regarded as having the most attractive pool on the island and there is no doubt that it has more poolside solar area then almost any other complex on the island.

TENERIFE

TENERIFE is the largest of the 7 volcanic islands making up the Canaries,situated some 2,000 miles due south Of the United Kingdom, and lying only about 4 degrees north of the Tropic of Cancer. Being the capital, Santa Cruz has a marvellous selection of shops with their array of duty free goods. Combine all this with a flight time in the region of 4 hours from the United Kingdom makes Tenerife an island you can not afford to miss.

PLAYA de las AMERICAS

Playa de las Americas is southern Tenerife's most popular resort. Sheltered by the island's central mountain range, this modern town enjoys a beautifully sunny climate throughout the year. In the evening time there are ample clubs, discos, bars, and restaurants enabling the holiday maker to chose a different venue every night. The resort is also host to the island's only water fun park and golf course and on the western outskirts of the resort lies the beautiful new Puerto Colon yachting marina. If you would like to indulge in a little sight seeing tour of La Gomera, one of Tenerifes sister islands, or you would like to entertain yourself with a shark fishing trip then the neighbouring fishing village of Los Christanos must be another destination for you.
